chess sets. The wood
materials used are sheesham wood (also called golden rosewood), chidar (also called boxwood), rosewood, ebony and bud rosewood (bud
rosewood is the most valuable part of the rosewood tree - the roots, which along with ebony provide the finest material for chess
piece production). The detail of the pieces show superb craftsmanship. Most sets are weighted which provides good on-board stability
and an added justifiable feeling of quality.
